Collegiate Pool

you can swim in collegiate meets loose in the same way that you can run loose track meets?
I like to try a swimming competition few but my university does not have a team, only one group, but I would like to participate in a Division 3 meets anyway. I used to run track and cross country, so I know I can run with no ties to the collegiate team so you too can do the same for swimming?
Not met with the certainty that you can swim loose but often governed by NCAA rules, which are often "open" or "invitation" meets. You may want to contact your local swim club or YMCA nearby and ask for the Master Swim program. Team Master accept anyone over 19 years and have frequently meets and championships. (www.usms.org) If you can scrape up enough interest in school you can always start a computer from exposure to collegiate teams of other races if not met in the doubles competition. That would take a little footwork and connections with the Director of Sports, but if there is enough interest, it is possible! Good luck
