Vs. copper bottom cookware nonstick anodized stainless steel! What is more practical?

I'm investing in kitchen and I think we can do in my mind. I'm "learning" new cooking techniques and know a good pot / Pan makes a difference. However, never I used a nonstick skillet to fry an egg, etc. I used stainless steel kitchen while others ... and there is a whole lot like the @ Macys! Is there anyone out there have any recommendations? Thank you!

I honestly do not buy a set of two. Buy individual pieces so it cooks on a regular basis. Stainless is best for searing and stir-fried. Nonstick is wonderfully well in starchy foods. A set may seem like much, but if two of the pots growing cobwebs in the cabinet, those savings are lost. In any case, make sure that deal at Macy's is really a deal. For copper / steel cookware, stainless if the set is less than $ 400, is likely poor quality. Everyone should feel heavy skillet in hand or drive the heat and warp. There should be no plastic handles, and the handles should be nailed in, not attached with a screw. In mid-price, however, defining the quality is fantastic stainless Calphalon Henckel or triple. Both are strong, to conduct heat evenly, and are well rated by Consumer Reports and Cook's Illustrated.
